Welcome to episode 166 of the Sexology Podcast! Today I am delighted to welcome Dr. Menije Boduryan-Turner to the podcast. In this episode Dr. Menije speaks with me about sexual orientation OCD, distinguishing between anxiety and sexual arousal and looking at what treatment entails.

Dr. Menije of Embracing You Therapy is a leading expert on OCD who is passionate about helping you be in charge of your life, not OCD. In therapy, her goal is to break the cycle and help her clients regain their power and strength. Dr. Menije works collaboratively with her clients to tolerate the comfort, the unknown, and the uncertainty. Dr. Menije knows that her clients are completely capable of busting out of their comfort zone, taking ownership of their dreams, and creating a new sense of self.

Dr. Menije is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Los Angeles, CA. She has been treating OCD and OCD Spectrum Disorders since 2012. She completed the Behavioral Training offered by the International OCD Foundation’s Training Institute.
